What Makes Sleepwear Actually Safe

Sleepwear gets more hours of skin contact than almost anything else your child wears, which makes the construction details more important than the pattern on the front.
Flatlock seams sit flush against the skin instead of raised and ridged, so there is nothing to rub or press into a sleeping child through a full night. Every seam we sew, we sew flat, on sleepwear especially.
Breathable fabric matters just as much as warmth. Overheating during sleep is a real, well-documented risk for infants, so we knit sleepwear from lightweight, breathable organic cotton rather than synthetic blends that trap heat.
No drawstrings, no loose ribbons, no decorative cords near the neck or waist — full stop. Anything that can wrap or catch has no place in a garment a child sleeps in unsupervised.
Every sleepwear piece we make also carries the same trust flags as the rest of the range: GOTS-certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tested, nickel-free snaps, and tagless printed labels, so nothing synthetic or sharp ever sits against the skin overnight.
